    Hi there!
    I’d like to find a way to permanently move to Australia. I’ve already spent quite some time around Brisbane;
    I did study English from september to december 2001 ( my IELTS score at the end of december 2001 was 6.5 but I believe I improved since ).
    In 2002, I began to study in a TAFE for an advanced diploma of Systems Administration & Network Engineering but gave up after a semester ( I had to come back to France ).
    I did pass a networking exam in France in 2004 ( DUT Genie Telecom & Reseaux ).

    Since then, I’ve been working as a short term system/network administrator in small companies in France/Switzerland ( usually to clean up and upgrade their networking &/or computer systems ). Recently, I managed to handle a few VoIP migrations and right now, I’m trying to pass cisco certifications ( CCNA/CCNP… ) to find a better job in bigger companies.

    I’ve already been to Australia about 15 times ( at the begining in 2001/02 as a student, lately as a tourist for 1-2 months ).

    What should I do?

    Should I apply for a skilled migrant visa?
    Should I try to find a company who will sponsor me?
    Should I get a WHV and work in companies who might want to sponsor me?

    I’m not really good at handling these kind of things ( VISA, papers etc. ), should I get the services of specialized lawyers?

    maybe all of them? or at least in order 3-2 and 1 if the first two lead you nowhere.
    If you want an agent for your visa, prepare your wallet and the money… If not, learn to deal with redtape and boring paperasses… It is not that bad, just needs to be organised and have good understanding of what the immigration wants from you but all is on http://www.immi.gov.au
