Dear Mr Thank you for your email sent in relation to your electronic working holiday (subclass 417) visa application lodged via the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website. Given that you are a citizen of Algeria, you are required to undergo a chest x-ray examination as part of your visa application as Algeria is listed as a country of very high risk in terms of tuberculosis. To complete your health requirements, please access the Query Application Status page on our website at: http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/. Click on: “Check the progress of an application”. Enter the requested details and follow the instructions to proceed with your health requirements. Health examinations must be undertaken by Panel medical doctors and radiologists selected by the Australian Government. You must attend your appointment(s) within 28 days. If you have not attended your health appointment(s) or provided the department with the date and place of your appointment(s) within 28 days, a decision may be made on your visa application based on the information held by the department. For further information in relation to your health requirements please refer to Form 1163i Health requirement for temporary entry to Australia which is available from the Department's website at http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1163i.pdf . IMPORTANT INFORMATION The department advises Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) applicants not finalise their travel arrangements until they have received notification of their visa application outcome. The department will endeavour to process your visa application as efficiently as possible, however you will not be able to travel unless/until you have received a visa grant notification at the email or postal address you provided in your online application. To be eligible for a Working Holiday visa, applicants must be outside Australia when they apply and at the time a decision is made on their application. If your visa application contains incorrect and / or misleading information, this may lead to your application being refused or your visa being cancelled. If your circumstances change or the information provided as part of your application is no longer correct, you must inform the department in writing as soon as possible. Please do not change your email address as this may cause confusion and delay processing your application. Thank you for using the eVisa service.
